Return of The Captain! --- Jeremiah is Training!

Word has it that Daryl has return from his visit to England! Ben has confirm that the Captain has just return to his homeland today! We,the Impulse players welcome our Captain back home! Hopefully Daryl has learnt more about football in England and would share his experience with his teammates. It would greatly improve the teams skills and attitude towards football.

In other news, Ben has conform that attendance will be taken for training. "We will soon take note of players attendance for each training sessions" was the reply I received when I ask about our current poor attendance.

Jeremiah,our newest signing has confirmed that he would begin his training with the team in Jan 2008! Jeremiah left me this message when I ask about the rumour, " Yeah,that's rite! " This news would lift the atmosphere of the training sessions and spur players to put in their best during training!

Release of Player!

It began with the poor attendance of players in training. Then two back to back cancellation of training,due to the lack of players wanting to attend training. This is a clear sign of poor commitment from the players themselves. Now a possible solution by the vice-captain is to release players. "We have a large squad that don't turn up for training! But I'll discuss with Daryl before making the decision" was the reply in my conversation with the goalkeeper. But Ben also indicated that if player do attend most of their trainings, they will not be released.
In my opinion,this is a good idea from the vice-captain. By making sure players attend their training sessions,it would ensure better performance from them during matches. Attendence will be taken for trainings from now on.

No training again!!! Match Postponed...

No Training again... Speechless... Since Training is canceled, the match new week against Sovereign is postponed too... Commitment to the team is clearly a problem.

Upcoming Match against Rival Sovereign

Our 1st Official Match of the Season is against Impulse EFC's rival Sovereign FC!!! This is a greatly heated match! Pass match up results,1st match Sovereign won 4 - 2. 2nd match Impulse won 7 -0 and the last match was a draw,2 - 2! Our rivals will put up a stronger team,to settle the score!!! Since the match have been scheduled,clearly the rumours about the disbanding of Sovereign Fc is doubtful. Even without Louis Loh,Sovereign is still a great threat to Impulse! As we already lost 2 players,midfeilder Safwan and defender Ruzaini! So Players are encouraged to Attend the upcoming trainings!!! And to accomadate those player working on weekends! Training might be shifted to Sunday!!! More updates in the days to come!

No training On 22 Dec 2007

Training has been canceled due to the fact that there is a lack of players! The X'mas season is here and many player and their families are taking this chance to travel! Also some of our Muslim player might have visited the Hajj for Hari Raya! So training will resume the next Saturday!

Regarding Post Training Entries

After every training, a entries regarding the training will be post on this blog. Most of the time about what we learnt and did. However, what happens in training matches is different. As I'm also involve in the match,so I cannot remember all the happenings such as who score what goal or how each of us preformed. So here is a heads up to all player, if you did well in the Training match and wish to be acknowledged, pls do so by posting on the comment box.

However,real matches is different. All goals and performance shall be monitored and record for the blog. Player may also celebrate their good performance by posting on the comment box.

Poor Attendence...

Impulse Had a fruitful Training Session this afternoon. Aside from the usual skills,Tactics are taught today and the Triangle Theory. Both are critical to winnings games. But today's attendance was poor. Only 13 out of 23 players turn up for the Training! This is a worrying sign. Many players are working during the holiday period and might not be able to make time for the training. Although players are encouraged to attend training,they have other commitments too. It is understandable that they miss out training. Hopefully,the attendance of the player would get better.
